Yukiko came bounding up to the edge of the water at the fishing house. She leaned closed to the water off the dock and ended up falling in. She began yelping for someone to pull her out.

Sozoka ran as quickly as he could for help. The river still had a current under that ice and he didn't lose any time to lie on the snow of the dock and pull Yukiko out of the water. "Here, here, little one." He chuckles, using his kimono to rub the dog dry and warm. "Be careful next time though, I'm not always around, neh?"

She stood up and shook off the remaining water. Once again she licked her front paws and began sniffing around the docks. After a few moments she took off running once again.

He shakes his head and stands up. "Can't stop not for a minute eh?" Sozoka chuckled. "Old man like me needs to catch his breath, you know that?"

Laughing silently to himself he runs in Yukiko's direction.
